Care Guide

Your Zipooch bed is designed to last. With the right care, both the memory foam base and interchangeable covers will keep their comfort, shape and appearance for years.

Everyday Care

Shake and air the bed regularly to keep it fresh. Spot clean small marks as soon as they happen. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent colour fading and keep the bed away from open flames or high heat sources.

Cover Care

The Zipup cover zips off in seconds - that's the point.

Remove the cover fully before washing. Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle using mild detergent only. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry unless the care label permits - air drying naturally gives the best results. Make sure the cover is completely dry before refitting.

Waterproof Layer

Your bed includes a protective inner waterproof layer beneath the cover. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash the waterproof lining unless specified. Allow it to fully air dry before reassembling.

Memory Foam Base

The memory foam core should never be machine washed. Spot clean only if needed and allow it to air out occasionally in a well-ventilated area. Do not soak or submerge in water. If the foam becomes heavily saturated, damaged or loses its shape, it should be replaced.

Puppies, Mud & Heavy Use

For puppies, incontinent dogs, post-surgery recovery or muddy outdoor adventures - wash covers promptly after heavy soiling and avoid leaving wet or muddy fabric on the foam base for extended periods. Consider keeping a second cover on rotation for convenience.

When to Replace a Cover

Zipooch covers are built to last, but it might be time for a new one if the fabric is excessively worn or torn, stains no longer lift after washing, the zip is damaged, it's taken a beating from a heavy chewer, or odours persist despite washing.
